Review # 1 was written on 2014-06-08 00:00:00 Timmy Hughes I like the way that the author takes a great deal of information and makes it easier for students to understand. It is clear and simple without being too easy or removing so much information that they don't learn anything or have questions to ask and pursue later. I could easily see using this book during our science unit on earth materials to help start the discussion of how rocks move and how the land around here was formed. He has written a number of books that could be helpful during that unit and the unit on natural disasters in reading - volcanoes, oceans, etc.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-08-08 00:00:00 C Jacobs Great easy leveled, non-fiction book about Glaciers. Could be a good resource for unit on Weathering and Erosion.
