The pros: +Easy to grasp +Sound advice The cons: -Some parts are specific to the time and place of publication (USA, 2010 as of second edition). Most is generally applicable though. -No case-studies of any substance For somebody with good knowledge of preferreds, this book won't provide anything new, although I found a few nuggets of wisdom that I'll take to heart. But for the beginner it's a good book in an often overlooked (and definitely under-explained!) corner of the capital markets.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-30 00:00:00 Richard Kiss Good synopsis of Preferred Stocks A quick read of the fundamental picture of preferred. It will get you familiar with resources and give a good understanding of risks and rewards.
