Aaron Cohen grew up in Beverly Hills, California. Then, he spent three years in one of Israel's "black ops" units, Sayeret Duvdevan. This is that story and also what happened immediately afterwards. ( I just found out he was hired as security for Kim Kardashian West after the Paris robbery?!) Apparently, since this book is older, I didn't realize he has trained and run security companies, etc. and been in the news (spotlight) quite a bit since the book was published. He's good and he trained with some of the best!

Really, really interesting read. I thought I knew a good bit about the Israeli military philosophy, not even close. This book takes a deep dive on how and why the Israel military operates the way it does, with no excuses. Very polarizing. No matter what you think of Israel tactics in the territories, it's an incredibly eye-opening read.
