Review # 1 was written on 2019-12-12 00:00:00 Mike Krause The book provides highlights of history of how board of director's role became important in establishing balance of powers in a corporation. I am a lover of details and this book delivered a summary of corporate governance over the years. Nonetheless, it was still a great book. First, the information presented was not dull but interesting. Second, the read is smooth and coherent. Third, enough information is provided to allow the reader to research the details on their own. |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-02-27 00:00:00 David Saltzsieder This book talks about CEO's that were fired recently and how it is a new phenomena. I believe that companies have just goten more corrupt over time with some of the new rules and how corporations are getting around them. He doesn't explain the efect on society or the sociological aspects of why this is happening. I really don't agree with the conclusions he did make. |
