Believe it or not, reviewing and writing about contemporary adult video is not always a bed of roses. The only thing that any stalwart fuck flick critic who reviews sexvids on a weekly basis is likely to notice is that many of today's carnal cassettes are plagued by a certain sameness. More than one critic has asserted that this is because the shot-on-video medium itself is "the great equalizer," and that its inherent limitations often make it difficult to differentiate the work of a master from that of a Betacam-wielding hack. It's therefore something of an unexpected carnal treat when a project comes down the pornpike that manages against all odds to rise above these limitations. The Secret Garden, Part 1 is such a film. The first installment Of a two-part 35mm sextravaganza, this unique movie features beautiful sets, surreal and intriguing story, and generous dollops of heated fuck-and-suck action the likes of which haven't been seen on the blue screen in some time. Quite simply, this is the best piece of porn I've seen this year.
