THE SLEUTHSAYER
In his devilishly dishy Voyeur's Guide to Women (and Men) in the Movies, celluloid scribe Mart Martin—whose latest opus delecti is entitled Did She or Didn't She? Behind the Bedroom Doors of 201 Famous Women {Citadel Press, 1996, $12.95)—advises his readers, "Several issues of CELEBRITY SLEUTH each year are especially recommended for star gazers: The Anatomy Awards, The 25 Sexiest Women, and Women of Fantasy." Thanks for taking the recommendation...
"I just can't get enough of those beautiful James Bond ladies," reader Jo Misa of Manila, The Philippines writes, "so I was hoping: What about those new Bond babes?" Well, the ad copy for the latest 007 flick, Goldeneye, could also serve as a slogan for Sleuth: "NO LIMITS. NO FEARS. NO SUBSTITUTES." And there's no substituting for our exclusive uncoverage of not only the two new Bond babes {Izabella Scorupco and Famke Janssen}, but also the new James' flame {Keely Shaye-Smith}! As Brosnan himself piercingly put it: "This is about excitement, this is about turning the audience on."
It's also about turning our audience ONTO rising stars who'll form the Next Generation {"Teenage Mutants," pp. 38-711, as well as classical gasses who've seemingly made time stand still {"Time Bandits," pp. 72-97}— looking as lovely today as ever land never as nude!}. This is somewhat of a departure for us...but we think it's an enterprising voyage that will leave you beaming.

"I appreciate the coverage that all the different magazines give to the product," says cult director Jim Wynorski, "because there is a 'B' movie subculture out there." Asked his formula "for making a successful 'B' picture," Wynorski laughs: "A Big chase and a Big chest!" Seriously, he concludes: "It's all howyou put things together, if you do a good job and put your heart in it, you can get a lot of recognition. I admire anyone who actually goes out there and tries to do it." Let's do it, shall we?
