Biography of Ron Yarbrough

He had the standard Surfer City-type of adolescence in Southern California. Days were taken up with school and surfing with the rest of the 16th Street locals and pier rats until the sun went down, nights were spent partying. He's gotten just a little more serious but Ron still has some of that boyish, "surf's ups," devil-may-care attitude about him. And the ocean still has the special allure for the blood twenty-two-year-old from Oregon. The sea's not the only place that that Ron feels at home. He's as sure-footed on the mountain slopes as he is hanging ten on his board. As he is darting in and out of underwater coral reefs.
