Biography of Fay Lovsky (a.k.a.: Fay Luyendijk)

Fay Lovsky (née Fay Luyendijk) is a singer songwriter, had an accidental hit in 80‘s Holland, (when Xmas was not as big as “Sinterklaas”) with “Christmas was a friend of mine”. Writes and performs her own songs, composes and produces music for film and theatre. Joined projects and bands - among which: Les Primitifs du Futur (F), The Magnificent Seven (theatre success in the 90’s), and she sang with Pat Metheny on the North Sea Jazz festival. Is currently with a blue, and new!grass band called Steam Power, besides touring with Cor Bakker and Remko Vrijdag :“Zwaaien met je onderbroek” - for kids and grownups, songs by Harry Bannink. Performing theremin, saw, and her own material, or “politically Incorrect Songs” solo whenever she gets booked.

Fay is also an actress, known for Natural Born Killers (1994), Bloody Marie (2019) and Manitoba (2010).
