He own 13 cars that otherwise would have made their way to junkyard if he didn't acquire them. He fixed up each one, and now they all run quite as kittens, boasts the mechanical whiz. When steely Dan turns his talents to felines of the human kind they too are sure to purrr as he promises to take them from a "dull neutral" to a "heavenly drive" in 0.5 seconds flat. Daniel A. Mead, also known as Dan Steele 53, of Dowagiac, MI, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013, in Dowagiac, MI. He enjoyed dancing, modeling, hot cars and bass fishing. He is survived by his parents, Dalton Mead, of Dowagiac; and Pearl Etzwiler, of Gobles; four siblings, David Mead, of Bloomingdale, Denise Noble, of Marshall, William Noble, of Pullman, and Diana Garrison, of Cleveland, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
