SEXIEST STRIP show around is the midnight "Strip Tag Team Match" held every night at the Gay 90s, a local loop bistro in Minneapolis. The match, following the regular floor show, is a strip-twist contest and features two pairs of exotic dancers who try to outdo each other's "art" as they peel down. Audience reaction, and there is plenty of it, determines the winners at the end of the frenzied, flesh-flaunting display. There is a lot to be said for the club's new gimmick for attracting audiences, but the action speaks louder than words.
MOST OVERRATED in matters of sex are modern medical men, according to Dr. Harold I. Lief of Tulane University School of Medicine. At a conference recently in Palm Springs, Calif., Lief charged that the average medical student learns only about the physical process of pregnancy and childbirth, but "precious little" about the problems of birth control or normal sexual relationships. Because of this, the young doctors are ill-equipped to handle the problems arising from maritai conflict, sexual fears of adolescence, or trauma from unwanted pregnancy. Lack of training, however, is only half the problem. Lief maintained that the students' own attitudes toward sex would hardly render them capable of dealing with a patient's problems, because—according to one Cornell physician—"Medical students are often puritanical. And the teachers just assume that they'll learn about sex from some book." So, it seems those sexy doctor movies are just myths.
MOST EXPENSIVE and popular Russian export since caviar, auburn-haired Natalya Fateyeva, a Soviet cinemactress, recently flew into London to promote an iron-curtain film festival. Hiking up her skirt, Western-starlet-style, for photographers, the 25-year-old beauty revealed to newsmen that she had refused a small part in Para-mount's Moll Flanders because she was already earning $75,000 a year. Natalya said she was "very flattered" by the offer, but it seems this communist with a capitalistic bankroll would only be attracted to Hollywood by a "really interesting part." Well, her dollar sense may have been so much press-agent propaganda, but there was no mistaking the truth of her 36-25-37 assets.
