EDITORIAL NOTE
This month's issue of Club International is guaranteed to defeat the forthcoming winter's chill. As usual, to set your pulses racing, we have some lovely girls, either modestly draped or immodestly undraped, and photographed by the leading practitioners of the art.
Other pictorial splendours include Room At The Top, an exciting look at the glories and pitfalls of mountaineering, written by Alan Thomson and splendidly photographed; a colourful presentation of old American cars, written by Tym Manley and photographed by Nick Wright; and, of course, some startling fashion from the famed David Parkinson.
The quality of our articles is as high as it always has been. Leading feature is The Roots of Sex by D M Thomas, one of our leading poets and author of the recent collection, Love and Other Deaths (Paul Elek). The fiction is by Jack Trevor Story, author of numerous best-selling novels and a man for whom the bizarre aspects of life are the most attractive. David S Garnett, author of The Star-seekers, The Forgotten Dimension, Phantom of the Universe and Cosmic Carousel (all published by Hale), takes a look at Edgar Rice Burroughs, the creator of Tarzan. And Philippa Pigache, regular contributor to radio, television and the press, writes wickedly on the new Female Chauvinism.
