Editorial Note
Well, September's here, and if anybody ever deserved an Indian summer after the apology for a real one we've been experiencing, it's the suffering British public. However, even if it is pouring with rain outside, we've got an issue here that's bound to cheer you up.
We're starting a couple of enthralling new series this month: G L Simons on the outer limits of sexual experience, and Mark Royston (regular readers will remember his abrasive interview with Charles Maxwell, editor of Contak, with pleasure) offers you the first of a five-part investigation into the twilight world of the contact magazine.
On a lighter note, you may care to turn to page 99, and find out about the startling discoveries Walter Harris made when he decided to take a look at the buildings around us. We are informed that Mr Harris is recovering well from his traumatic experience!
Our fiction this month is truly extraordinary, quite supernatural in fact; guaranteed to make every lady view her knickers with some suspicion! And Candid Cameos continues its ribald look at Victorian womanhood.
