Aging Interventions and Therapies
This book is an interesting and humorous exploration of the science and quackery associated with anti-aging. Several broad themes are investigated; caloric restriction, hormone therapy, animal research (mostly with mice), engineering and gerontology. Almost all of the content of this book is based on first-hand interviews with the scientists (and quacks) working in the field of anti-aging. The author attended countless symposia, workshops, and conferences on the subject. Read this book if you enjoy a light, refreshing look at the subject. If you are more interested in a scientific, rigorous analysis, you should probably look elsewhere.
