Dragons Cry Book

Dragons Cry is a lyrical evocation of history and memories drawn from characters that move between places and cultures, the word I could use to describe what Simon has been through after I read this book were sympathy and courage. Not only because of his brother's death nor his wife not getting pregnant, but a major mistake that Faye made which she could never forgive herself for. Over the course of the evening following the burial of his older brother, Simon and his partner struggle to reconcile their past, loves and losses through the prism of the brother who brought them together, but who also fractured their relationship. Faye found out that she is pregnant but the child whom she is carrying wasn't Simon's but David's child. Although Simon knew about the truth but he was blinded by his love to Faye. He forced himself to see things differently, convincing himself that David just needed someone to talk with and that was Faye. At first, I thought David's death was caused by an accident. Along the way when I read, I found out that David's death happened to be a suicide, my guess to why David suicide was because of the unfaithfulness to his brother Simon and he felt guilty.
I wouldn't recommend people to read this book since the story was confusing, the setting took place mostly in the past before David died. Also, the main idea of this story was about finding the truth of David's death and other mysteries. It wasn't what I had expected when I first read it. What I had expected was if Simon could live on his life. In my point of view, the ending was okay. I had guessed right that Faye didn't forgive herself about the child. She was begging Simon for mercy on her and the child but Simon couldn't make up his mind if he could whether forgive her or not.
