The shoes always have to be just right, so much so that December has a full-fledged shoe fetish. December's love for shoes seems to govern her life and her rational. A sucker for the latest and most unique fashions, it's not long before she finds herself in financial trouble, constantly spending money on not just footwear but anything that she believes will keep the perception of her image prestigious.

The Perfect Shoe
The Perfect Shoe told the story of 28 year old December Elliot and her quest for Mr. Right in the midst of discovering what she wants to do with her life. Kimberly Matthews uses shoes as an analogy for men with each shoe being a particular type of man, i.e. the house shoe, bedroom show, winter boot, etc. December is searching for her stilleto (Mr. Right). Overall, it was a quick read. It's not high on my list of must reads. If you're looking for a book to breeze through in between books, this is an option.
