The Seasonings Of Grandma
The author's father was an interesting figure associated with the Louisiana Scandals of the Long Administration and this could have been a much more interesting book. The rest of the family had much less to offer. If you read it for local color about New Orleans it also contains a fair number of errors as the author spent decades away without much personal knowledge or memory it seems. The reader is also left wondering how much was fact and how much artistic license.
