Arrangement and Presentation:
Book is arranged by authors and illustrators. The book contains biographical sketches, photos, selected bibliographies, and lists of resources for 45 authors and illustrators.
The author provides a look at a diverse group of accomplished authors and illustrators, some of whom have not yet received national recognition, and for that she is to be commended. She provides background information on each one and for some there is a reproduction of a handwritten letter from the creator to his/her fans, a nice effort to build a sense of real communication between the two.

Diversity:
This book would be useful for the diverse group of students at the elementary school as well as the teachers.
