DO YOU LIKE MUTUAL PINING? BECAUSE IF SO, this delivers in SPADES. Ono starts out in love with Kijima, but Kijima quickly falls for Ono, and at one point, there's discussion of a chain of unrequited feelings which is actually just a volley between the two that only the audience knows about (and maybe super cool side character Tsuda, she's great <3 <3). This is just so sweet, and I adore it. And the unrelated short story at the end is so sad and bittersweet and I love it too.
