Outlaws and Gunfighters of the Old West
Inspired by a visit to the actual site of the gang's downfall, I found this book to be a entertaining read. The author seeks to debunk many of the myths and digs up some of the absurdities found in past volume on James and his exploits. He also brings to light the heroism of the town and it's people. It is good storytelling and recommended to anyone with interest in the era and it's subject.
