A Place for Birds Book

This is a nonfiction book about birds that live in North America. The author, Melissa Stewart, describes in a simple way that people sometimes do things that make it hard for birds to live and shows ways that scientists have helped birds so that there will always be many kinds of birds on earth. The illustrations beautifully show many different bird habitats. This book can be read to younger children reading just the top of each page or you can go into more detail about each page reading the whole page.
