The Polar Bear Family Book
I really enjoyed reading this book to my 2nd grader. It's what I would consider a "living science" book; a book that teaches scientific facts through a journey or story (this book being a journey about the octopus life). It captures all the fascinating features of the octopus and has beautiful pictures (actual photography!) of real octopus. Highly recommend to homeschoolers and public school teachers!!
