The main thing this book has against it in 2015 is that it's getting a little old. Not that this is the book's fault.
The author inserts his own personality and preferences into the writing, which is not what I was expecting -- I was expecting more of an academic book. This is more a series of reviews. The degree to which you find this irritating will probably depend on how much you agree with him.
