Ben bu kitaptan aşırı zevk aldım. Her ne kadar Chaucer bu kitapta sevgi ve ihanet anlatımını ön planda tutarak tarihten ve mitolojiden seçtiği kadın karakterleri anlatmış olsa da, mitolojik kısımda verilen dipnotlar ve kendi araştırmalarım daha çok daha zevk verdi bana.
Edebi tarafından bakamayacağım ancak beni daha çok ilgilendiren mitoloji açısından bakacak olursam sadece chloris ve zephyrus değinmesi ya da thisbe efsanesiyle bile okunmayı fazlasıyla hak ediyor.
