Man and Maid
Before WWII began and from Germany to Victory, Illinois, Sophie Heller and her family emigrated.
After the war begins a few of the local residents believed them to be Nazi spies.
Thanks to Cole Ambrose, the local high school teacher, helps make life bearable for the family.
The Moon Looked Down was a great read on many levels.
The Moon Looked Down was a book I didn't put down until I read The End.
Susanne Barney did a good job in telling the story.
