Ellen White's World
An interesting read. Knight makes a good point that EGW needs to be read with a knowledge of the time in which she lived so that we can know how to properly extract the principles which can be applied in our time. Probably to properly cover the topic would have required multiple voluminous books with a few university degrees in history, however, I think this book still gives a nicely concise bird's eye view of Ellen White's world including the social, religious, intellectual, educational, moral and medical issues of her time. And it will certainly enrich my experience when reading her writings.
