Vilken vacker och klok bok!
Tre av de vise männen är Gaspar, Balthasar och Melchior. De beskriver sina personliga resor till Betlehem för att hedra nyfödda jesubarnet. Den fjärde är en indisk maharadja, Taor, som reser av en annan anledning och anländer för sent för födelse. När resan är slut, har de alla hittat lösning på sina frågor och sina problem.
Boken är öppen för varje tolkning läsaren vill sätta på den. En biblisk historia, en utvecklingsroman, en aventyrsbok, en fantasi, ... Den är ganska lättläst, men så underbar!
