Summary of history of baseball in Baton Rouge has some nice photos, but mostly of teams full of no-name players. Most interesting tidbit was the disallowance in the late 1950's by BREC for black players to play in their parks. Felipe Alou, future Giants Hall-of-Famer, and two others from Lake Charles minor league team were not allowed on the field. Way to go BREC.
