British Fashion Designers Paper Dolls
Great analysis of the rise of boutique culture in the UK in the 60s. It charts some changes in fashion, business, and society and general and has a great class and gender based view. I would have liked a chapter on European boutique culture, as there is one on the US, and there are references made to European boutique influences (like the Dutch The Joker boutique), but there is no general overview. But that's really my only qualm here.
