This leadership textbook was provided as a mandatory reading for my Naval Science: Leadership and Management class.
While this textbook was brimming with insightful information on leadership, it was not transformational in any sense regarding how to lead in real-life contexts for my field. It was highly generalized and often focused more on the theory behind leadership than teaching and advising on how to lead. One does not become a great leader through theory, and I believe this textbook fell short on understanding that commitment.
