Walking in the Way of Peace: Quaker Pacifism in the Seventeenth Century Book

Although this read like a textbook, I found the narrative from his research well constructed and with fascinating results. Peeps who haven't spent time in the Pacific Northwest may not "get" some of his conclusions about religion and culture here. Pages 249-256 about gay marriage reflect the strongly different worldviews of the topic by evangelical and liberal Christians; it would be useful if the media in general understood these views better, especially when covering politics. My "aha" moment was when he described how liberal Christians in the Pacific Northwest differ only marginally in worldview from the general unchurched culture and therefore offer little reason for peeps to participate or join a church. I recommend this book.
