Editorial Note
WELCOME TO ANOTHER scorching issue of Club, Britain's favourite wrist mag; an issue that finally features a picture credit for photographer Adrian Smale (see The Naked Interview, page 41).
Now you wouldn't know it but all-round-good-guy Adrian has been a snapper for Club for quite some time. However, due to a series of unfortunate errors, oversights and downright piss-poor subbing and attention to detail by our so-called Sub, he's still never managed to see his name in glorious black print. In the three years or so that he's been snapping twat, Adrian's work has appeared under more false names than your average porn model. But things really came to a head when the poor fellow opened last month's issue to take a butcher's at his sterling shots of ace bassist Mani and our naked babe Nadia only to find his name missing yet again! "I'm not pissed off or anything," he said, obviously pissed off. "But can I have my name on my pictures next time?" I assured him that the mistake would never be made again and in fact we had already made certain that his name appeared, with his pictures of Guigsy, in thousands of copies of this very issue. So as soon as I got off the phone to him I called the printers and had the presses stopped at great expense so that we could make amends. Never again will Adrian's name be forgotten and never again will his pictures appear without his name. Job done.
