• there are sections for beef (about 50% of the recipes), pork (about 30%) and (my new favorite) lamb (20%)
• most of the ingredients called for are real food
• very few call for grains
• very few call for dairy
Design
Great design! It's got cuteness (with a side dish of kitsch) and utility.
• it's spiral bound (should be the default for recipe books, what? :)
• the fold-out embroidery-illustrated diagrams are a great visual for which cut comes from where ... I'd put something like that on my fridge!
