Salvage Book

It's a forbidding task to make a list of the best of the long and varied run of the Fantastic Four. Perhaps it needs a longer title: "The representative best of several eras..." Even so, it's weighted toward the Lee-Kirby era, as it should be (ahem), which just indicates what an amazing run they had on this book. There are other stories I would have liked to have seen, but nothing I would have left out to make room for them.
No, wait, there is one story I could happily delete: The Thomas-Perez Impossible Man story in which he visits the Marvel offices demanding his *own* comic book. Instead, maybe the first appearance of Rama-Tut, or the Infant Terrible.
The only downside is that the reproduction of Jack Kirby's art could have been better: Slick magazine paper really doesn't do the era any favors. I read this and I think it's just as well that Marvel isn't publishing a FF book these days. It was the World's Greatest Comic Magazine, and I don't think they know how to do that now.
