Financing Energy Projects in Developing Countries
The preface says, "This book provides a nontechnical description of growth economics in order to arrive at summary conclusions ..." I would suggest replacing "nontechnical" with "less technical"; the author did not shed his tendency to use use technical vocabulary for the concepts he writes about. Also, although the book itself qualifies as a summary of a large body of literature (142 pages of text, and nearly half that many pages again of notes and references), it could benefit, I think, from briefer, one-page summaries at the end of the chapters. Still, I recommend the book to anyone interested in the subject but not planning to make a profession of it.
