An incredible discovery! I was looking for Why Marry, the first play to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and found it in this collection of six early - twentieth century plays that explore the role of the "New Woman" and connected societal issues. There are three excellent plays in this collection, two OK (BUT presenting very interesting issues), and one that's just like, um, no. But what makes this collection amazing is the window into early 20th century thought on feminism, women's "roles" etc. as well as how many new ideas and prospects were being considered.
The two one -acts are downright awesome --- experimental and insightful.
