Each page contains basic, but interesting information in short sentences geared toward youngsters who are beginning to read independently. This lever two reader contains fact bars that offer information such as a mambo snake can travel twelve miles per hour and the world's smallest snake, the lesser Antillean, was only discovered in 2001. New vocabulary is defined on the pages in a box aptly labeled "Words-s-s."
