A Place to Call Home, Vol. 6 Book

Once again, too many POV's, but overall the story is interesting. I would have preferred if the story was either more focused around one main plot line-trouble with the Indians or Portia and her mess (she made me cringe every time she came on the scene).

I thought it a little strange that in the middle of the book Morgan was talked about a little more, but then as the the story ends he and Trenton are hardly mentioned. And once again there is a cheesy love triangle that reminded me too much of Dianne, George, and Cole. But anyway, that's just a side note.

There are were several realistic troubles in this book. Dianne must learn submission and understanding, even when it is hard. It was nice to see that the author didn't focus on Dianne's feelings of "women's rights". I read too many books like that! I liked Cole more and more in this book.

For lovers of a good, simple western story. One more book in the series!
