Hunter Bryce was a tall (5'8"), buxom, and shapely brunette stunner. She was born Kathryn Sue Johnston on October 9, 1980 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Of Irish, Scottish, and Italian descent, Bryce was the daughter of Howard and Karen Johnston as well as the sister of brother Matthew. Hunter graduated from Frazier High School in Pittsburgh in 1998. Bryce majored in both non-fiction writing and English Literature at the University of Pittsburgh, which she graduated from with an advanced degree in literature in 2003. Hunter worked in retail, real estate, and marketing prior to starting out in the adult entertainment industry in Florida in 2007. She appeared in several explicit X-rated features for companies such as Evil Angel, Bang Productions, Wicked Pictures, New Sensations, and Pure Play Media. Bryce was nominated for a XRCO Award for Orgasmic Oralist in 2010. Hunter died at age thirty from complications from alcoholism on April 12, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

Hunter graduated from Frazier High School in Pittsburgh in 1998 and the University of Pittsburgh in 2003, where she majored in English Literature. She worked as an exotic dancer and personal trainer prior to embarking on a career in adult films. Her idol was adult film actress Briana Banks. Two of her favorite writers were Charles Bukowski and Hunter S. Thompson. Moreover, she took her first name Hunter as a tribute to Thompson.
