Your Single Treasure Book

The editor (Rachel Kramer Bussel) sent this book to me to read and post a review on Amazon.com (which is forthcoming). The cover and title makes it seem 'naughtier' than it is, so it wasn't quite what I was expecting. This is a collection of nonfiction... essays, blog posts, etc... about sex-related topics. Among the areas addressed are purity agreements, the effect of post traumatic stress on a soldier's sex life, how the Bush administration's scare tactics affected the BDSM 'industry', online escort communities and the religious approval of sexual activities. It is actually quite a fascinating read and made me think about some things that I hadn't really considered before. That being said, I wouldn't recommend it to prudes and, primarily because of the cover art, it's not exactly a good one to take on the bus. ;)
