Immediately, the first thing that caught my attention about this book was the illustration on the front. The colorful, almost monochromatic color schemes perfectly captured the essence of who is Stevie Wonder. In addition to the cool illustrations incorporated into the text, the author also decided to incorporate real photographs into the text which added an element of realness and authenticity to the piece.
In regards to the text, although I believe that it was a bit too extensive for young children, I believe that it is perfect for pre-teens and teens that want to capture the story of Stevie Wonder without a totally in-depth portrayal.
I think that for this book to be published in 1979, it was still fun to read in 2015. This is why I gave the book 4/5 stars.
