Victorian and Edwardian Fashions from "La Mode Illustree"
This is based on the Kindle edition of this book, Victorian and Edwardian Fashions from "La Mode Illustree". There are numerous excellent illustrations, but at least in the Kindle edition, not one has a date on it. The reader is left to guess what year a fashion is from. In addition, the descriptions are not terribly helpful. "A Russian peasant dress suitable for a matron" reads one, with no real description of the costume. Extremely frustrating, all around, but somewhat typical of Dover books.
