Universal wisdom Book

This compilation reflects the increasing desire amongst practitioners of the great world religions to find the "universal wisdom" that underlies their diverse philosophies and beliefs. It consists of a series of substantial extracts from the sacred scriptures of Hinduism, Buddhism, the Chinese tradition (Taoism and Confucianism), Sikhism, Islam Judaism and Christianity. It includes sections of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Dhammapada, the Buddhist "Awakening of Faith", the "Tao Te Ching", Sikh morning, evening and bedtime prayer, a short piece of the Quran, writings by Al Ghazali and Rumi, sections of the Wisdom literature of the Old Testament, sections from all the Gospels (including the whole of John) and Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
