Travels through Blood and Honey Book

A sudden move to Kosovo throws the author into an entirely unfamiliar world. Through a beekeeping apprenticeship she develops friendships and connections that help her understand her new home, and meets other beekeepers: retired guerrilla fighters, victims of human trafficking, political activists, and the Prime Minister himself. Travels in Blood and Honey charts the author's journeys through Kosovo. The book contains traditional recipes, and the flavors of Turkish coffee, chestnut honey, and the iconic food called fli.
