While comprehensive and authoritative in its scope of New Orleans cuisine, this cookbook was lacking in its presentation--e.g. there are no photos of any of the dishes. The only photos to be had are on the book covers. At least what the publisher could have done was insert some photos of the main ingredients such as crawfish so readers can tell the difference between it and a shrimp.
