The secret rose
This is a collection of short stories (and one poem) by Yeats. The stories are really quite varied; of course you have his usual obsession with folklore and fantasy catered for but there are also stories about religious faith, comedy, tragedy... it even veers into horror territory a couple of times. I have to say, after expecting it to be all folklore and fairy tales, I was pleasantly surprised.
I didn't do my usual story-by-story breakdown with this one, as I normally do with short story collections. I'm not sure why; it just didn't even enter my head.
