The Rights of Indians and Tribes Book

I read this book in 2016/2017 with my school class, we would read a couple of chapters every Friday and I can just remember being totally gripped and counting down the days until Friday where we could read this book again! It was the only thing I would look forward to on Fridays!

This book is mainly about 2 boys who one day bunk off school and when one of them is injured, the other one abandons them and ends lying to everyone around them, including the police.

This book is extremely gripping and fast paced and once you pick it up you can't put it down! The chapters are short and usually end on a cliffhanger that keeps you reading. This book really questions human's motivations and how far people will go to keep their reputation. I really feel like this book is underrated and a bit of a hidden gem which is a bit of a disappointment because this is such an amazing book!

I definitely did enjoy this book enough to give it a 5 star rating but the reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because I felt a bit let down by the ending. The ending is one of those endings that leaves you wondering what really happened and lets you make up your own story about what actually happened. And I just didn't like that. I don't need a book to help me make up my own story! I could do that at any point of the day I want! I feel like I would be less annoyed by this if it wasn't set up that we were going to find out all the answers.

Overall, I enjoyed this one and would recommend it if you enjoy fast paced gripping books with an ending that leaves you wondering.
