An all-time favorite. Beautiful art, a well-told story, and great themes.
At its most literal, this story is about subsistence hunting and the importance of respecting animals, and your relationship to them. You can also read it metaphorically, as concerning the need to take care of our environment more generally. At its most general, it is a cautionary tale about a darker side within us, and what may happen if we succumb to it.
