The last integrationist
I liked this book which is meant to be set in the future. A black man is the attorney general with a possible shot at becoming the VP. The AG takes a tough line with drug offenders and has a boot camp for those who have been caught. There are some interesting twists at the end of the book regarding the paternity of one of the characters as well as how the AG handles news about his boot camps.
