The grand adventure
Like any anthology, it's uneven, but the good more than makes up for the weak ones.
'When Kong fell' was clever and the Sherlock Holmes one was fun, but some of the ones in the middle got too weird to be completely entertaining.
I love Farmer, but he would sometimes let a story get weird just for the sake of weird and he seemed to lose control of it.
You'd then end up with a great idea, but a story that made little sense and just seemed to wander till he got sick of writing it and just stopped.
