I've been working diligently to read books that have sat on my shelves for years. I am a HUGE fan of books (both fiction and nonfiction) about polar exploration, and I think the author's done a really nice job here envisioning what may have happened to the people of the Franklin expedition of 1845.
Just an added word to the wise: don't even go there trying to compare this book with Simmons' The Terror. That is just downright silly.
